Field Inspector training

Yeah I called SoFI multiple times no answer even texted. They said to call about any questions. It’s looking sketchy to me.

Use the magnifying glass at the top of the page

They are just a directories where people go if they are looking for inspectors, they don’t assign jobs

Oh I see ok. I can just call directly on my own.

If you search the forum using the magnifying glass you will find all the information you need with list of companies to sign up with directly

@reginald Welcome to the Notary Cafe forum! :sparkles: As a new Notary Cafe member you’ll find the GOLDMINE within the Notary Cafe database insightful & helpful, too!

It’s always wise to research & vet a new client prior to providing a definitive confirmation to them for your initial Signing Order for them. A great start of research would begin within the Notary Cafe forums Search Function.

To be helpful, I’ve inserted an image for you & others [see below] to help members locate it to unlock the wisdom & knowledge of other members on the forums.

Accessing the database to locate info about potential clients has saved many of us an inordinate amount of time ‘chasing’ payments for Services professionally provided to potential non-payers . . .

I guess it happens, but i have been doing it for 18 years. The companies i use require a real estate license. Some are just drive bys and some are full evaluations. All ask questions that can only be answered with MLS access. Unfortunately. The psy is rougly 1/3 of what it was years ago. I dont make much after factoring in car and gas expenses, but i do it to keep up on areas, value trends, etc.
Thanks for the info on additional resources. BTW, i use a $125 wide angle canon point and shoot. Go to best buy where they can show you the difference. Works as you get the whole house from the street.

The only equipment I use is my IPhone and a selfie stick for roof shots and a digital measuring tool for diagrams.

I just signed up with Photo inspection.com. How do you get paid, get jobs, etc? Not much information. Can you please help me? Thank you!

I meant photoinspection.com

They will send you an email confirmation for assignments in the area you then log on to their site and and accept it if you want. The pay by Bill.com

You can register on their site and scroll up to see the companies that are “hiring”. Then register. Maybe you’ll have better luck based on your experience.

I have had little to no luck with them. I’ve only done maybe a handful because the due dates don’t fit in with my signing schedule and they don’t negotiate the fees. I prefer to work with companies that are more flexible in the price or have bulk orders that make sense
