Any tips on finding locations for HELOC signings? Local title company? Attorney ofc? What have you found works best?
I don’t really understand the question, I get sent requests to do HELOC all the time. I go to the signer location. Why would you look for a different location?
In Texas it has to be signed at title company or attorney office.
Oh. Glad I’m not in Texas then - sorry.
Townsgateclosings does Helocs for Bank of American in our area.
I’m in Washington State.
After you work on some of these plateforms and you do a good job the companys that like you will just start reaching out to you directly.
Lots of platforms send offers in WA state. I do a lot for First American Title.
Howdy, my fellow Texan I had a consultation with an attorney once and I Oh by the way’d him…told him I was a NSA and needed to do HELOC’s in a Title company or an Attys office and asked if I could pay to use — (he cut me off): “Sure, you can use one of the conference rooms here, no need to pay me. I have plenty of room, just call the front and let them know when you need it and come on in, have your clients come here to meet you, don’t worry about it!”
Then, some signings will be in the lenders office. I just did two for a credit union. The signer was in my area, where they happened to have offices. The signing appointment was booked in their branch, in one of their empty offices.
Have the HELOC’s you have done require a sig from attorney/CU/title co?
never heard of that one. I will definitely check them out.
Sorry for the late response. I haven’t done a HELOC in an attorney’s office yet! I just moved to the Houston area and haven’t made any connections yet. Luckily I’ve only had 2 HELOC requests that were in the lenders office, so I was able to sign them there.
I call different title offices, fee attorneys office. I have at least 2 offices I can go to in the area I service. I let them know I’m a mobile notary and ask do they offer courtesy closings in their office. If so, what’s the fee if any. For every 5 offices I call. One of them will be a yes.
