I was hoping someone can provide me with contact information for Coast2Coast Signings, Inc. I have emailed several times regarding payment for completed signings, with no response. I attempted to contact by telephone at the numbers listed on their website. I either receive a message that the telephone number is not good or they are unable to answer.
I have completed quite a few signings with them and while they are slow, they have always paid up until now. I have emailed invoices as well.
I’m sad to hear that. I’ve seen a few come through on my phone but their rates are so low I just ignore them. If I come across another one I will see if I can get info and let you know.
C2C is good only for beginners. They are probably the lowest-paying signing agency out there. They are good for getting experience, but once you pass that ballpark, the fee is super low for the work.
I have had some dealings with C2C and low fees. They will not as far as I know will change the mind set of very low fees and it appears they will not entertain negoiations. I agree with sknotary 2005. If it is too low for any signing notary leave it.
I did several signings for Coast2Coast, I texted, emailed, and called them for months, I finally reported them to the BBB. I took them off my list, and will never do business with again. It is horrible how they do not acknowledge us, and do not pay us till months down the road… So disrespectful.
I worked with C2C as a new notary. They did not pay and the fee was so low ($30-$60/signing), it was not worth the time hounding them for payment. I took that as an early lesson and ignored all future offers. Had I come to Notary Cafe first, I would have seen the warnings of low fees and missed payments. There are numerous signing services out there, so save yourself the trouble and skip C2C. All the best to you!
There are two signing services I no longer reply to, one is c2c. Payment is usually a problem, however misleading order descriptions and returns were the primary reasons. I am used to seeing descriptions read “refinance” or “hybrid” or “sellers”. These descriptions are industry standards and have corresponding prices that go with them. C2c will regularly send out orders with descriptions like “email loan” or something similarly vague. The result is 600 pages of printing and an afternoon wasted on a single order. No more for me.
I completely understand your frustration with Cost 2 Cost; you’re certainly not alone in this experience. Like you, I have also faced challenges with receiving timely payments from them, which has led me to make the decision to decline further job offers from their company.
Regarding your concerns, I recommend reaching out to Cost 2 Cost directly for further clarification and resolution. You can contact them at (866) 766-0871 or send an email to office@c2csignings.com.
I haven’t worked for them since May this year and also have not been paid. I sent reminders in August through Snapdocs with no reply. Another notary contacted them through accounting@c2csigning.com and was told he would be paid at the end of the week. Two weeks later the check did finally arrive. Since requesting through Snapdocs had no response for me. I am also going to try that way. Some Coast2Coast orders come through Notary Dash as well but I haven’t had a chance to track those orders yet. As far as Lisa Bittner, she used to be active sending out training emails and other messages. I haven’t seen her post anything for over a year. I think earlier they were saying their new accounting system had issues. Anyone who has not been paid should try again, include the order number when you are requesting payment.
I had the same issues, working with C2C. Lowball offers, vague work order descriptions masking high page volume orders, and annoying latency with payments. They currently owe me a few hundred dollars for a signing which was botched by the title company, causing me to have to print the doc package and travel to the signers twice. I also spent nearly a hundred out of my own pocket scanning docs at a nearby Staples in order to make the funding deadline. The title company promised reimbursement in writing on an email thread with C2C copied. My hope is that C2C will not stiff me on the bill on this one.
I have another signing service who has also been nonresponsive to my requests for payment after crossing the payment terms threshold. The NNA offers some good guidance on how to handle these types of matters; I’m reading up on that and looking into what else can be done to pursue payment from C2C and the other service before giving up, reporting them to the BBB and writing off the bad debt.
I wish you luck with your case. If you’re an NNA member, I highly suggest looking into their guidance on pursuing payment from nonresponsive signing services.
I emailed the office because they owed me two payments and it was over 90 days. They have new software and payments are being delayed but she cut me a check as of yesterdsy. office@c2csignings.com
I didn’t get paid from them for a long time either. But I emailed them a couple of times and called them. They did eventually respond, and I got paid for all the signings I did. They say that they are having problems that will be fixed by new year. Just keep emailing them and let them know that if you don’t hear from them that you will need to take action to be able to get paid. Not sure what exactly you can do, but if it got to that point for me, I would figure it out.
What I learned this week is declining offers from a slow pay results in orders from companies that pay well. I have had a super busy week. Must be cram it into 2024 time at Title companies.
