I did my first notary job last night, it was a simple acknowledgment, which I think was a great way to start. The job was assigned through Sign with Trust. I went onto their site, and it has a “notary application” which I filled out, but there is no portal and they have not sent me any link to a portal. Has anyone worked with them before? If so, do you have any information on how you received payment?
A mobile notary work assignment. I did 3 of them yesterday. The best thing about this phase of our services is that you collect your fee directly from the signer. I even carry a credit card reader for those clients who don’t carry cash. How else would you get paid?
Obviously SWT is farming out their clients to remote notaries. It’s up to you to invoice them for your cut of the notary fees. Don’t wait to long to chase your agreed upon fee.

I have hundreds of notary journals filled with signatures from 25+ years, but I still remember my first assignment.
