what app or how do you all send invoices and receive payments ?
Not at all sure what you are asking. Most ‘platforms’ don’t require you to invoice them and they do allow you to choose your preferred payment method (by signing up for Direct Deposit–or not). Various signing services pay by paper check/USPS & some pay by eCheck, or Direct Deposit. They usually make it pretty clear what options they offer.
A very few SS/TC DO want an invoice…most of the ‘want invoice’ outfits pay once/mo for any/all jobs done in a month…and these outfits have various defined methods of receiving said invoice–usually it’s stated how/when/whatever on their order. They do make it difficult and if you don’t do it ‘their way’, you won’t be paid timely.
There are also pay-to-play ‘accounting programs’–some designed specifically for notaries–that (I guess) do it automatically. I don’t use them. PERHAPS someone who does will chime in here and give you options to check out.
I send them direct to who hired me often via upload at the website. There are some companies who say I don['t need an invoice but I create one for everyone and if I’m told not to send I apologize and say it’s a best practice I follow. I don’t send one to
First American on JOTS because they never not pay. But there’s been a few on SnapDocs I’ve had to chase around so I send them out. I created it with an invoice template in Word. I turn it into a PDF and send it. I don’t send them maybe one other company.
