Just today I received an email, where someone contacted me through my Notary Cafe profile page. The email in it’s entirety is at the bottom to those who are interested. Basically, they told me their wealthy client made a recent deposit of 10.5 million dollars and the bank was threatening seizure of the money if it wasn’t claimed by an heir, who shared his same last name (as I do). THEY ARE TRYING TO STEAL YOUR IDENTITY, but you will be fine if you report the email and DO NOT give them any information. Here is a website I found going into detail about scams like this: https://www.scamwatch.gov.au/types-of-scams/unexpected-money/inheritance-scams
Protect yourself from scams: https://www.scamwatch.gov.au/get-help/protect-yourself-from-scams
Common types of fraud and scams and how to report: https://www.usa.gov/stop-scams-frauds
A quick google search will also provide more great information.
DO NOT FALL PREY. Be informed and spread the word. There are awful people out there and this is a very serious matter.
Stay safe y’all.

Message:
I have sent you this message earlier, but your failure to respond has prompted me to re-sending it once again. It is about my late client Mr. Edward Bryce, who lost his life in an automobile accident along with his wife and only child. I assisted him in making a deposit worth $10.5M. The Bank has therefore threatened to seize his account if an heir is not directly specified. I am therefore contacting you to stand as his heir, so that his deposited funds can be released and transferred to you. I shall await your immediate response through my private email (koujoassociate@emailasso.net). Kindly get back to me with your; Full name| Age| Country| Mobile Number| Profession. Best Regards Mercy Koujo
