Invoicing and Accounting Platforms

So, I currently use the Wave Payments platform to for accounting and invoicing. I know there are other platforms like QuickBooks Online and FreshBooks, but I went with Wave because it’s completely free and gets the job done relatively well for my single-member LLC entity. I wanted to know if anyone else has experience using any of the services mentioned and what their opinion of the service was.

  • Good for profit and loss reporting?
  • Ability to charge taxes?
  • Sophisticated enough to supporting quarterly tax filing?
  • Are there other platforms geared towards notaries?

Looking forward to your responses–thanks!

I use notary gadget which has been great and cheap but just found out I can’t export my profit loss report to excel for tax purposes :woman_facepalming:t5:

Thank you for responding. I’ll definitely look into Notary Gadget (NG). I heard of that one but thought it may be a bit too specific for my business which provides technical writing and review (the notary part) services, but it’s possible I may be able to just use NG to organize my notary assignments and track my mileage. Much appreciated!

Your welcome and good luck!

I love Notary Gadget. One of the best features I found that saves me time and effort is the ability to import signing conformations so you won’t have to manually input the information. It is so worth the fee and the ability to have the information connected to your mobile calendar is priceless in my opinion.
