Just for fun

There’s an agency that sends offers at $40 which I won’t take under any circumstances so I countered. Then they sent it at $50 and it’s a TBD for today. So I upped my counter by $10. Then it was sent at $60 and I upped my counter again.

LOL. I doubt I’ll get this order but gotta make fun when you can.

Heh…I do that a lot, too. Tho’ my motivation is just to mess with 'em. They make more work for me, so I do likewise for them. (I’m sure they don’t care or even realize that, so, yeah, I guess it could be classified as ‘fun’). I also do get annoyed when I respond with ‘not available’ and they continue to send ever-increasing $ inquiries until someone accepts.

Well whoever is doing HELOC for fifty bucks is crazy.

Those types of offers tells me it’s not a good fit for my business. When their fees have such a wide gap from my fee schedule, I don’t invest my time to respond. My time is just to valuable and I will not invest it in such a manner. I just laugh and move on to the next offer…

Sometimes a notary’s rating on a site is related to their response rate.

Your point may be true. I do not respond to low offers, because I do not want to take a chance on actually getting it.

In Texas it’ll cost you between $50-75 just to rent the law office conference room.
