Legit or Not? Signing Solutions powered Signing Order

A little background: About 1 week ago, I received email for a potential order that I MAY have replied yes to taking the job but had to wait to see if it was assigned to me. The message stated “Hello confirming you saw a witness was needed to be brought?”. This email came from jessica@signingsolutionsgroup.com. I did click the link on the email so that I could be routed to the signing platform as I would do with Signing Order. I was routed to Signing Solutions site powered by signing order. Since this would be a new vendor for me, it asked if I wanted to copy my signing order profile over. I selected yes and everything I originally set up on Signing Order’s site profile was duplicated and transferred to the Signing Solutions platform. The look and feel mirrors Signing Order exactly but it makes me nervous because I have not seen another job since then.

I did see another forum where others cosigned that they were indeed legit and had received compensation from them. In another discussion it was stated that Signing Solutions and Signing Solutions Group were not one in the same but looking at where my email came from and the website, it suggests differently.

I’m hoping for some clarity.

It ‘appears’ (confusingly) to me that they are not the same co. Each co’s website is quite different. SigningOrder uses NotaryLoop database. It ‘appears’ that Signing Solutions does, too. Except (this is where it gets muddled) it ‘appears’ to be the SO site, except upper left says it’s SigningSolutions. My guess is that somehow or another, they both use the same PLATFORM.

Messing around with this extensively (it sure is confusing) I logged into Signing Order (which does say it’s ‘powered by NotaryLoop’ ) AND SigningSolution using SO’s PW/ID…and what happened to you–transfer info to Signing Solutions–also happened to me. Exactly how NotaryLoop fits into this–I dunno. To further confuse the issue; NotaryLoop is in the process of a name change: NotaryLoop is now TitleLoop…and this is what they say:
“We provide direct integration that enable vendors to connect with the nation’s leading title agency software.” I am at least as confused as you are…maybe more so. But I ‘think’ the only association is they both use the same software (PLATFORM?) for finding a notary and keeping track of orders. If you–OR ANYBODY–figures this out, please enlighten all of us.

Too add, I disabled my profile on the Signing Solutions website until I figured out what was going on and went into Singing Order to make an update and noticed it too was disabled. I enabled it and made a change to the profile. When I went back to Signing Solutions website it was also back active and reflected the change from Signing Order. It appears they are now tethered to one another. :face_with_spiral_eyes:

Think the association/tethering is the PLATFORM. Can’t figure how NotaryLoop n/k/a TitleLoop fits into this mess.

I only see the reference of NotaryLoop under the Venbooks logo where it says that the vendor is powered by Notaryloop. Maybe that is the in common accounting service offered again by whoever owns the actual user interface platform. Hopefully someone is able to shine some light on this topic.

One thing for sure…it isn’t us. I am more confused now then when I started trying to figure this out.
