Anyone heard about Mortgage Connect recent offer for RON and IPEN orders? “RON fees have been added to your vendor profile. The RON fee is $25. You would not leave your home, no printing or fax back. The closing should take less than 15 minutes and there are no fees associated with the Simply Secure Sign platform.” It wasn’t clear about the type of assignments this will apply too. I requested clarification.
What are your thoughts?
I wasn’t aware of this until I read your post. I visited Mortgage Connects website, selected Vendor portal, and downloaded their Signing Agen Set Up Package. There is a page that list a fee breakdown that the SA would charge for each type of closing (HELOC, Refi, Purchase, etc.) Hope this helped a little. #oduore.notary Thank you for offering your help. I am already contracted with Mortgage Connect. My post was addressing their recent communication sent to me. Sometimes Mortgage Connect communication are not clear and needs clarification. For example, in the state of Florida Remote Online Notary Public are allowed to charge up to $25 per remote online notarial act. Whereas, Mortgage Connect communication stated the following - “RON fee is $25”. That is where miscommunication occurs, they haven’t stated, what they will pay for a RON assignments.
I’m sorry. I misunderstood; I understand now. It does seem as though the SA would only receive $25. Well, I’ll be waiting to see what you find out. Thanks for clarifying that for me.
