What can you tell me about this new requirement by Prestige and the company they are contracting with to do the training? I have asked for clarification as to why this training would be required when I already have NNA certification, but I did not get an answer. Please advise.
I’ve never worked with Prestige Notaries so I have no idea. But in general a signing company can impose any requirements that they want and if you want to work with them you have to meet their requirements. Instead of asking them why they are requiring this additional training you should ask yourself do you want to work with them bad enough to complete their training. It is your business and your choice.
Bottom line…don’t work for signing services unless they pay a fair fee. Will this training result in a fee of $100? If not, I’d pass on it. There are plenty of companies that pay $100 plus withifiout spending money on yet one more certification.
So this training instructor advocates not working fnor SS’s, even though he himself owns one.
How to get direct work!
(I’d say there is more money in selling training classes than in running a signing service!).
So true…innocence rubs off pretty quickly.
