Hello!
I am a brand new Notary in Michigan, Macomb / South Oakland Counties wondering if there is anyone out there willing to mentor me? I have worked with closing documents in the legal / corporate field for the past 16 years and have recently left my job so that I can work from home / mobile.
I have all of my certification documents (background check, etc.) from NNA. I called Notary Pros today (they left me a message from an indeed submission) and when they told me that I would need to pay $179 for a class tomorrow, I got a little gun shy and I am so glad I came here and started reading these forums.
It’s obvious I need some help, any advise would be greatly greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
Please BE CAREFUL! I am the owner of Notary2Pro and have been in business for 8 years and trained thousands of notaries to become professional Notary Signing Agents. There is a company out there that is trying to use our name and reputation and are ripping people off. Several of my students went to them first thinking they were coming to us and they paid the $179 and when they were not provided anything they were unsuccessful at getting their money back. We charge less than they do and have not raised our fees in years. Ask people on these forums about us and you will see that it is Notary2Pro that has an impeccable reputation.
Hello,
What do you need help with?
I suggest you get the law primer from the NNA for your state. It will cover all the notary rules for Michigan. They offer a notary signing agent course as well as other notary schools. Asking questions and experience will be your best teacher.
