I’m looking into purchasing the NSA certification through NNA and wondering if the Basic package is all I need. Is the Complete package worth the money? And with the basic package, the only thing lacking is E&O insurance.
Hi, Letsproceed. https://www.nationalnotary.org/washington/signing-agent/become-a-signing-agent The difference between the basic and the complete package is $70. So for $70 you are getting their Loan Document Source Book, a notary journal, loan signing prep sheets, and 20% off notary supplies. If these are of value to you, go for it. Otherwise, skip. I went for the full package out of an abundance of caution. I already have a notary journal style that I prefer. And I don’t use the prep sheet. But the Loan Document Sourcebook is a pretty handy reference book.
You’ll want to purchase a signing agent E&O policy but it’s your call whether to purchase it via NNA, or from your notary public insurance provider.
Wishing you the best of luck in your Signing Agent journey.
Waste of money. It’s NNA looking to create an unnecessary title.
