Performing my first Refinance.
Initially the request was for 2 witnesses (me being one cause its allowed in NYS).
I wanted to confirm that there is only one area for unofficial witness areas to sign. Is this correct? I would be the second witness but wasn’t sure if they wanted a line for that?
If two witnesses were required, then I’d expect there to be two lines for signatures.
That depends on the document, title/lender requirements and state requirements.
I’d refer you back to your hiring entity for more specific answers. Honestly, there’s really not enough info in your post for anyone here to be of any significant help.
