Continuing the discussion from Inspire Closing Services - FKA Mortgage Connect:

I HAVE DONE MANY SIGNING FOR MORTGAGE CONNECT , THEY ARE A GOOD COMPANY TO WORK WITH, WHAT I FOUND OUT IS THE NOTARY HAS TO KEEP THE FILE NUMBER OF THE JOB. AND SUBMIT IT ON THEIR INVOICE SLIP CORRECTLY AND THEY WILL PAY YOU. GOOD FOLLOW UP TO YOUR ACCOUNTING QUESTIONS,ME NOT GETTING PAID IS MY FAULT NOT THERE’S , THEY ARE A DAMN GOOD COMPANY AND THEY DO PAY USUALLY WITHIN 2 WEEKS.

Don’t you wonder why some companies just pay within 2 weeks without requiring a lot of busywork, while others want an invoice…on their form…with all the details…submitted on a particular day…and it then takes weeks to finally be told what you did ‘wrong’ so they ‘couldn’t’ pay you?

Yes, one does wonder, especially since payment is made on the day of closing. Makes one wonder if the “ponzie” scheme is at work?

MC is a nationwide title and escrow firm that deals with abstractors, attorneys, inspectors, brokers… pretty much the full range of real estate professionals, as well as NSAs. I imagine the number of invoices they process weekly must be well into the hundreds.

By requiring the use of their own forms, they speed processing and reduce internal errors.

Personally, I complete my invoices using their templates, with a screen print from my MC Completed Orders screen.

Not as easy as Vendor Pay, Amrock, FASS… but it is what it is.

I have been doing signings for MortgageConnect/Inspire Closings for several years. You MUST send your billing requests on THEIR invoice forms and always note their signing order # listed on the Closing confirmation. They ALWAYS pay. One of the best out there. Feel free to contact me. admin@kcmns.com

Unfair, biased and inaccurate posting. They are a 5 Star in my experience the last 5 years.

This sounds like a great company to work with. Can you please post their official website? I would love to join. Thanks!

How do you submit invoices for Inspire? I keep sending it to an email and their web site gets glitchy.

Please advise.

thank you

they are very slow to pay and now my balances are escalating so I am turning down signings from them until they are current. I hate to do it but they have left me no choice. I love the crew, too, but hey, I can’t have this HUGE AR sitting out there.

use a spread sheet and make sure you have a SAMPLE FROM THEM and do a save as for each month you submit. I MUST do this because their portal is VERY temperamental. And they are slowing down how fast they used to pay which does concern me. Good luck. bb

'* * * MORTGAGE CONNECT INVOICE SUBMISSION NOTE * * *

Regarding submission of invoices for your Mortgage Connect Signing Orders [SOs]:

  • Within their Onboarding Process/Training Package there is the delineation that the vendor must wait 48 hours prior to submitting their SO invoice after the successful professional completion of the signing appointment.

  • The Invoice Payment Department/Accounting personnel advise that the vendor must wait 72 hours prior to submitting their SO invoice after the successful professional completion of the signing appointment.

.

WHICH IS IT (one might ask)?

.

The emphatic & clean answer to this query is that the vendor must wait 72 hours prior to submitting their SO invoice.

===>>> What happens if the vendor submits the invoice (too early) for their successfully completed SO after waiting 48 hours as instructed within the Onboarding Package after the successful professional completion of the signing appointment?

The SO invoice is slotted into a TERMINAL PENDING STATUS that will never be paid - unless/until the vendor specifically brings it to the attention of Mortgage Connect Invoice Payment Department/Accounting personnel.

ACTION ITEM: To ensure all your invoices with Mortgage Connect are paid promptly & efficiently:

  • Submit the SO invoice 72 hours after the successful professional completion of the signing appointment
  • Double check your Mortgage Connect dashboard on the WIP tab to reconcile & research any overdue/outstanding invoice submissions that may have fallen into the TERMINAL PENDING STATUS category.

Payments are not made the day of closing unless that’s the distribution date.

@cNsa5 exactly correct. My process has been mistake free. Download the invoice template. Save it.
When you accept the order, fill out the template. Save it. For myself I save it by borrower name. Put the date to invoice on your phone. Don’t count the weekend or holidays in that 3 day period. When the reminder pops on the phone submit the invoice.

The first time i invoiced it got hinky. Because of me. I spoke to vendor management and she released the invoices I submitted too soon. After talking to her the invoicing process has been flawless ever since. And weekly deposits are a wonderful thing.

If I work direct for a title company they send a check in 3 days. Online companies that pay within 2 weeks or twice a month are Jot, MC, bankserv, Stewart Title via Signature Closures and almost everyone on Signing Order. Snapdocs is usually within 30 days unless it’s the first time you ever took an order from a company then it might be after the 15th of the following month.

I was cleaning up my 2025 workbook and noticed oh - didn’t report receiving that so I sent polite emails and got checks the same day. They were late, but I didn’t follow up in a timely fashion. Sometimes - it’s on us.

I like MC a lot.

NEED TO KNOW THE DATE THAT MORTGAGE CONNECT WILL DIRECT DEPOSIT THE INVOICE?

Once the invoice is submitted & accepted:

  • Go to the 'Payment History" tab
  • Create a Report for the applicable invoice date interval in question
  • Once the Report Results populate, look to the column on the far right of the Results for the Column Header of “Sage Paid Date,” which reflects the actual (or scheduled) remuneration date for each individual successfully submitted invoice.
