Reading reviews and I understand what is happening to me today. Called me direct to take a job that required 2 buyer packages. Gave me a name and address but no contact information.
8:50 am - accepted the job
9:50 am - asked for contact info & approx time paperwork would be avail
10:50 am - followed up with this same request
11:40 am - haven’t heard a word BUT the interesting part is their original email has disappeared from my Inbox & the reply attached to it. Has anyone ever heard of someone being able to do this?
Yes, this was quite a bit of traveling. Don’t think I’ll go out on a limb for this company!

Some email providers give an ability for a sender to recall an email. Of course, this requires cooperation between the system that wants to recall the email and the system where the email was received. It doesn’t always work.

The ability to recall an email (from the sender standpoint) is possible, IF it’s within the configuration of the ISP/email provider AND if the Recipient HASN’T opened/read the email.
