Hello All, I am writing to caution Notaries about Premier title and Escrow which is located in Providence Rhode Island and owned by Attorney Janine Atamian. I am sure they pay their regular notaries because they need them, but please be cautious if you are remote from them. This is what happend to me.
Last year I performed a perfect signing for them and when I did not receive payment after 60 days I called and spoke with Raquel who said they needed my W-9, which I sent.
Six weeks later I had not received payment so I called again, spoke with Renee who informed me that owner Janine Atamian had instructed them not to pay me because scans were not sent as instructed. I retain all my order confirmations and scans were not requested. I attempted to convey this fact but the discussion went nowhere.
On my next call I spoke with Beth who told me " this is Janine’s business and she can run it whatever way she wants." On every call I asked to speak with the owner and was denied. But after this call Janine Atamain called me back and told me to stop "threatening her staff " and she would "report me to the Secretary of State "
At this point I wrote her a letter and of course she never responded. The funniest part is that they have called me several times since and asked me if I was available for a signing. So please beware, especially if you are remote or not a regular notary for them.
