HP has inserted data on their last update that doesn’t allow you to use anything but their toner. It won’t print otherwise. You can disconnect the updates to prevent this. Very sneaky.
I agree and I hate it. Great machine though. I’ve used the knock off cartridges and did what they said just change over the chip. However then the printer locks up after every print job and turning it off and back on and it recalibrate eats up the toner. It’s crazy.
