Request to Courier documents to a title office

When I an asked to courier documents to the title office, I ask for a courier fee.

Usually get it. Don’t do these services for free.

You would be dumb to do it for free…especially if it means going out of your way more than you would to Fedex or UPS. If I’m asked to do that, I give them a quote depending on time and distance to the title company’s office. I’ve never had a problem getting what I ask for.

Pretty sure I never said I do it for free.

I didn’t say that you did…only said that it would be dumb to do it for free.

Since I reside in a relatively small community and had two Title Companies close to the office who were generating about 40-50% of my business during the Re-Fi bubble, I’d drop for free for these only. Everyone else had a currier fee.

Now that the Re-Fi Bubble popped, I’m back to currier fees for all.

@johnsonps306 Yes :tada:  absolutely request a Courier Fee for providing this type of service. Thank you for showcasing this often requested service.

Like you, a Courier Fee has been a component of my Schedule of Fees from the onset of launching my business.

Absolutely. I had a signing today and charged for that same service nothing is free maximize your signings.

Some companies you will build that rapport and relationship with. For the rest business as usual.

I’ve responded to some higher offers and then realized they are offering about $40 extra for a personal delivery. Where can you find a courier to drive 50 minutes each way for $40? I usually pull out of these because they won’t pay anything more. It’s insulting.
