How do I signup for Service link? I’ve sent them multiple emails on the website to be there signing agent can some help me or give me an email that i can contact them on.
back during the mortgage meltdown, they were not taking on any new notaries. not sure if that changed but it might explain why you don’t get an answer.
Got a application last week from servicelink Linda but still waiting on the conformation.
They require 6 months experience or 50 closings.
Yes, same here trying to sign up with service link. What is the website to sign up or email?
I’m trying to sign up with them. Can you provide the link you used please? I don’t think I have the right one.
Just an FYI…they are not accepting Notaries with less than 2 years of experience. Last year sometime they cleaned house and deactivate profiles of those that did not meet that criteria. I also heard (not verified) that they have now capped the amount of Notaries they have in one area with an attempt to keep their current Notaries they have been working with as busy as possible since signings have slowed down.
Thank you so much for letting me know. I truly appreciate it.
I applied to Servicelink.yesterday I received an email requesting my HELOC and refi’s fee. My area is mostly rural, and the nearest drop for the docs is 25 miles away. I believe my fees are reasonable for my area. I got a responds that are welll see for yourself
Good Day,
We have received your request and would like to Thank You for your interest in joining ServiceLink. Unfortunately, the fee that you have submitted are higher than the average fees of the notaries in our panel. The avergae fees are $75.00 for Home Equity & $85.00 for Refi closings.
You may resubmit by providing the county & your revised Home Equity & Refi fees next to each county for review.
Kindest regards & Thank you,
ServiceLink Vendor Management
I must be missing something. Are their loan packages that small, or what,
Yes, welcome to the frustration most signing agents share with most signing services. Never let any hiring company dictate your fees for loan signing requests. Naturally they would prefer to pay rock bottom rates.
Establish your signing rates and stand by them. Don’t bat an eye. Your rate is your rate. And if they have to get your rate approved before hiring you for a particular assignment, that is perfectly OK. On that document where you are noting your fees, you could write “TBD based on assignment and travel distance”.
Good luck!
@aplusnotarysev FYI: Here is a direct Notary Cafe url link to a helpful thread that is a Guideline for Creation of a Schedule of Fees:
Thank you for the advise. All i am getting is very low ball. $20-$30 offers.
