Has anyone been “unassigned” to an order because they didn’t download the documents within a few hours of them posting them? Kinda ridiculous. I have an 11 am for them this morning, I had already left for another signing and at 830 I get a voicemail that my docs are ready. By the time I get back to the office to print at 945 I had been unassigned.

Do they think notaries just have one job a day and we are supposed to sit around waiting for them to put hoops up for us to jump through in a timely manner? They are awful demanding considering I have been on hold with them now for over 20 minutes so apparently they only have expectations for others, not themselves.

No idea why they’d reassign after docs were sent to you. Or was it just actually cancelled and not reassigned. While waiting on hold, send 'em an email.

Nope, I called the borrower since we had already talked and she said “Cindy” is coming now. Kind of BS. Drove back to the office to print. Waste gas money and time and effort for a job that now pays zero.

Funny too, the message I got this morning was a computer voice that said “We are sorry these documents were late”. Yeah, it would have been nice to print at 6 am the first time I left the house then I wouldn’t have had to drive back.

These place don’t give a rip about their notaries, we are just an expense.

By the way, I am still on hold with them. 39 minutes now. Every 60 seconds or so a voice says how important my call is to them. LOL I will be driving again soon so I am going to wait it out.

Yeah, that is bs. Think 1. they double-booked & 2. late docs… I’d politely give them a hard time.

I plan to. But no, they didn’t double book. I had automated offers sent to me twice in my email asking if I was available for the signing I already had booked. Of course they sent it back out for minimum wage. I also had a missed call while I was at another signing table from them.

Apparently some idiot got nervous becasue they are probably the ones that got the documents posted so late. When I didn’t immedately download them they got fidgetty, unassigned me and found someone else. Totally unacceptable.

Not sure I will even work for them again. Or if I do, I will charge them accordingly for my lost time and inconvenience this time.

PS 50 minutes on hold now, LOL

Yep. Somebody messed up and it wasn’t you. Hang up, block your number and call 'em back.
No, wait… after booking you, they kept looking for cheaper and found an idiot. That’s beyond bs and into abuse.

Victory. One hour and 9 minutes phone call I got a person and a manager is going to call me back.

It seems like the disconnect in communication is that those people sit at a computer all day and don’t really understand what notaries do. I cover a rural area so I am either driving or at a signing table. Every minute I am not moving towards my next job is me getting behind.

So when they send me an email saying they see my documents haven’t been downloaded yet, I can’t read that on the road.

They take that as a lack a communication because I didn’t respond to the email. But if I pulled over for every email i got I would never get anywhere, lol. I glanced at it and see something from Sourcepoint but I am already heading back to the office to print that so no big deal. Reading any further is not safe, right?

The missed call from them, I try to return and get stuck in a hold cue and give up after 10 minujtes when I get another call but again, I am already on the way, so whatever.

Meanwhile they are panicking because they think I am a flake.
