SS frustration and miscommunication

This is not a surprise. I have had it happen to me. I would like to know what SS it was so that I can be cautious with them in the future. However, a 20 minute drive is not worth a fee increase, and you will find this is not the last time you’ll be asked to do a last-minute signing. However, the package size absolutely deserves a fee increase. Generally, $25 is what works. In addition, you shouldn’t call the signer until you have a definite commitment from the SS. When you didn’t get that, it was the writing on the wall. However, if the SS didn’t even have the courtesy to call back and tell you the signing was cancelled, that should tell you a lot about the SS. I generally stop doing business with any SS that does it twice. Stay warm!!!
