Strange Request to Direct Email

I received an email yesterday, they haven’t responded with a contact number, but I am thinking it is spam. Hopefully the picture shows up. Has anyone seen a request like this? I don’t want to click on anything that may give my computer a virus. I have tried searching the company and it is real, but the person doesn’t seem to exist.

If you found the company, possibly call them? You have the file number, maybe they can confirm if legit. Also, this doesn’t look like a loan modification - see “Notary Checklist - Buyer’s Purchase” - also a payoff letter?

I wouldn’t click on any links either until I’ve confirmed this - no contact info for company? Red flag.

I left a message, however it just seems odd. I replied I was unable to click the link and asked for a contact number and no response. I think I will pass, plus they offered $250 without me replying how much I would charge. I asked for the zip code to determine where it was located and they didn’t even provide that.

It seems to say they sent you a link to the docs before you even agreed to take the signing. That would be a huge red flag for me.

The address shown on the email 3322 Shorecrest Dr. is located on the Dallas/Love airport property. Why would a law firm conduct business with commercial air traffic flying over head?

I didn’t even see this when I looked up the address. I sent it to spam. I am not going to click on anything especially if they can’t answer what the best number to reach them is with questions.

I got a similar request. They followed up with a second one saying that I had been assigned to the signing and to go to their website to download the order. When clicking on it my Avast Premium prevented my access to it.

I received the identical same email for a different date. I replied to the email and declined. There was no phone number. The email was from a hotmail account instead of a business account, and I couldn’t verify that it was a legit company.

I reported it to spam and didn’t click the link. Thank you all for your input. It is very helpful
