That's NOT PURPLE THAT'S BLUE

Signed two hours away last night and handed the signers pens and the woman says I like MY PEN and I said is it blue? OF COURSE.

She signs and I look and I said that’s not blue that’s purple we can’t use that. She hit the ROOF.

I said, if it is rejected I have to come back, please use this blue pen and it will be uniform, I greatly appreciate it. Her husband was cool about it but she was just visibly irritated.

And signing as a non borrower. I was like please and thank you.

And the ink was clearly purple and she swore up and down that’s BLUE;

No that’s purple. LOL. I have never had anyone throw a fit about using the pens I provide.

Just wow.

Different people see colors differently, and different ways of seeing blue or purple are one of the big differences for people who aren’t considered color blind.

Reminds me of the times where I have handed someone a blue pen, then their phone rings in the kitchen and I don’t realize they are now using the black pen on they used for the phone call on our docs.
Becuase of course, we are the ones who get blamed.

Oh, I’ve had them do that switcheroo in the middle. I’ve learned to ask them to put their pens away.
