I have never posted before. I come on here to make sure that I am fully informed about the companies I lend my services to. So now I am here for you.
Please be aware of The Signing Service LLC or The Signing Services RRES as noted on Notary Dash.
I did a Limited POA on 6/19/2025; it is yet to be paid. I contacted Ken George. No response as of yet.
What looked good: It was in town, 15 min from me, and 1 page for $65.
He communicated as I did. No invoice needed. The check will be mailed to me as the informational video stated. I even asked: Should I send an invoice? I was told no. But I did. No response. I contacted him 3 days ago and I still have not had a response from Ken George.
I would not recommend this company. Decline, Decline, Decline!!!

Hello @kashaylaabraham -
First, I am sorry you had this experience wit this firm. No one should have to chase the money that have rightfully and honestly earned.
So, I asked myself what would I do in this situation. Would or could I report them to the FTC or other agency? Here is what my trusted Google machine advised me:
Yes, as a mobile notary, you can report a firm that fails to pay you for completed notarization assignments. While the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) handles consumer protection and fraud, it is not the correct avenue for a contract-based payment dispute. Your recourse options are primarily through your state’s regulatory body, the Better Business Bureau (BBB), and potentially legal action.

Whatever you choose to do, is the right decision. Always remember; YOUR decision is always what’s best for you and your business, not what others think you should do.
Chau for now,
Karina
PS -I’m not a lawyer, nor do I pretend to be one. I’m simply a notary working to remind myself and others that we have rights.
