I accepted a signing and was told there were no scan backs and that the refinance was a straight forward file. When I got the docs I learned it was over 238 pages and a reverse mortgage. I emailed them requesting a larger fee due to the size of the file. They attempted to try and renegotiate at a much discounted fee. When I said no to their “offer” they cancelled the signing. And by the way it occurred on the last day to sign recissionable loans. Very poor

May I ask what the original agreed fee was?
If it’s a reverse mortgage i would never do it for less than $225!
