The Vermont Office of Professional Regulation has posted draft rules for continuing education. Notaries who are nearing the end of a full two-year commission term now will have to take one hour of continuing education, and upload proof of completion, when they renew. The last day of all Vermont notary commissions is January 31, 2023. Notaries who obtained their commission part way through the current term are not required to take continuing education for their 2023 renewal.
