WARNING: 123notary - Mobile Notary Public Directory

WELL…renewed my subscription with 123 Notary after receiving a message (like most companies when your credentials are about to expire) that my renewal period was fast approaching. Paid my renewal fee and NOTHING. No access but they sure took the money :frowning: Emailed the owner, the email bounced back, tried to call and no response. Please don’t renew because you are just wasting your money. Maybe someone on here knows what happen with them.

If you paid with a credit card you can explain the failure to deliver services and have the charges reversed. There maybe time limits so act quickly.

I will try that but I am sure the time period has lapsed.

@doveinnercitynotary Appreciate you sharing your direct experience.

Same here. They called me and suggested I upgrade and I said that I was going to hold off. They stated my account would be activated within 48 hours. That was 3 weeks ago! I’ve attempted to contact them and no response.

They took my money back in October and they never called me. I had the upgraded package and they never reactivated me.

Maybe they finally committed him to an institution!

i had something like that happen to me recently

Hmmm Thanknyou for sharing this. My renewal was in June but when I tried to renew it looked as if it were dropping my rank. I replied to the email asking to renew that way since it was an option and have never heard back… I was getting loan signings from other states and some GNW. I wondered if he went off grid or something as well. I hope you get your money back or better yet your phone starts ringing.

Just happened to me. I emailed them a few times never heard back to I disputed the charged. I got the credit.

May I asked who did you send your dispute too? Was it your bank or someone else?

I just disputed the charge with my credit card. It has been 3 weeks and it still say pending. It is so sad that we work hard and they do this to us.

Yes! I paid $59 to be listed , then I received a call to upgrade for another $49. They told me, only $59 is to get an account not to be listed but the website states different. I emailed and no response. I was promised twice to get a refund was told they would refund but nothing. I’ll file a dispute! I suspect the owner sold the company.

The owner has a history of unstable behavior.

Thank you for Sharing. I still haven’t been listed as promised either. Does anyone have another website were we can actually get calls for signings that do pay well? Any suggestions?

I am the ninth notary to sign up with 123 and have been listed by them for over 20 years. There was a period of time when signing agencies would troll 123 for signing agents. I guess they got the message that talent doesn’t come cheap. A $59 buy in is a waste of money but at least you have a tiny chance that all the notaries that are paying serious money for high placement will forget to answer the phone.

I am so glad that way back when, the owner refused to list me on his site, and I have a great record.
All I see are complaints about him. And the political conspiracy rants I used to see were pretty strange.

Notaryrotary.com has sent me plenty of business.

I never paid them a fee but worked for them a few years back. They posted my information on the internet with my photo. Since I have moved from Bremerton to Bonney Lake WA not able to get them to change my information on the internet. Very frustrating.
