Im doing a will today and one of their witnesses canceled so I need to know if I can both notarize a will and be one of the two witnesses? My gut says no, and I can’t look it up in my book as it is currently at my mom’s house apparently. Thank you for any advise.
Check your guidelines online or call your regulatory agency. It will also depend on if there is a Self Proving Affidavit contained in the will … You can’t notarize your own signature.
The NNA might know I would call their 1800 number
