What's your thoughts?

Office Depot/Staples is currently offering case of letter size paper for under $35, if a customer spends $150 in purchases. Can we get a break? What’s your thoughts?

notaries be careful and aware: just last week someone hacked into my Staples online account and attempted to buy a $500 games council. Fortunately I was able to cancel the order. I no longer keep my card saved on file.

Cases are different sizes - how many reams are in that case? I recently got a ten ream case for $49 on Amazon and that was pretty cheap. I’m not going to spend $150 just to get a good price on a case of paper.

Totally agree with you!

Sorry that happened to you and thanks for sharing…

I think it’s absolutely ridiculous to pay $150 to get a case of paper for $40. I purchase my paper from Costco for $37.

It really pays to have a membership at these shopping clubs. It also beneficial for fuel costs too…

I recently ordered 2 cases of Boise X9 at Office Max for $40, which is advertised through the internet. There was no requirement to spend $150. But, whenever I shop for paper I just type the paper size in my browser with the word sale attached and I purchase from the cheapest bidder that has decent paper (20lb, 92% bright white). But, be mindful of shipping costs!

@Tisino good luck with the Boise paper - I bought two cases from Office Depot/Office Max several years ago and ended up sending it back - it curled like crazy…I hope you don’t have this problem

I’ve used this paper for years and never had that problem. It is my go-to, along with Xerox Vitality (my preferred) and Double A. I wouldn’t pass up a deal on either of these.

My personal preference is I never keep my card on file with any vendor. PayPal one of the worse offenders. PayPal kept my credit card information and I was with same bank for 20 years and I was an easy target. Since that hack do not save any type of card on line for anyone. Crazy world we live in.

so true. People are getting desperate I guess

I’m buying a 10 ream case of letter size paper from Sam’s Club for $39.00.
I don’t think that they carry legal size, which is a lot more expensive everywhere.

Just pick up a case of letter size paper this week from Sam’s Club cost $38.98 too. Thank goodness Sam’s Club hasn’t raised their prices like Staples/Office Depot, their cost is approximately $49 for 10 ream case. The fluctuation in the costs for paper, toner, and fuel cn impact our profit margins.

I had the same problem with Boise. Never again!
