$48 Membership Surprise—Seeking Insight on These Signing Services

Over the past month, I’ve been receiving emails from two signing platforms—HireNotary. com and USA-SigningAgent. com. (links broken by admin to prevent cookies from these sites being traced back to Notary Cafe, leading to more messages to our users). They’re unfamiliar to me, and I’m curious whether other notaries have worked with them.

Initially, I began registering with one of the platforms, thinking it would be beneficial to be listed on multiple sites. However, after entering my general information, I was immediately directed to a payment page requesting my credit card details. This caught me off guard. I paused the registration and reviewed their previous emails, but none of the introductory communications mentioned a $48 monthly membership fee. I’ve since reached out to them for clarification.

Given that experience, I’m hesitant to proceed with the second platform. The lack of transparency feels like a bait-and-switch tactic, which I find concerning. I’m reaching out to the community to learn if others have had similar experiences with these companies or others like them.

Has anyone here interacted with HireNotary.com or USA-SigningAgent.com? ? I’d appreciate any insights.

If you search here using the search function (magnifying glass up top to the left of your avatar) enter the company name. Grab a drink and some snacks because you’re going to find a truckload of information on these two…

If you want to save time - here you go - Don’t Do It. They are listing services that promise you work but you don’t get what you pay for. There are other directories that will bear more fruit for your business - these two are not them.

Hi there! OK, When I first became a notary, I fell :face_with_crossed_out_eyes: for the scam advertisements Hire and USA Notary put out and it cost me about $50 each. Of course, I never got anything but dead air from them. What a sucker I was (being a former fraud investigator, I was all the more disappointed with myself for being duped). A word to all who read this response: DO NOT PAY THESE SO-CALLED NOTARY SERVICES A-N-Y-T-H-I-N-G for the promises they offer. They are crooks and should be avoided at all costs.
If you do a little digging as cNSA5 always suggests, you’ll find my earlier reports on this scam along with many others. Take heed, y’all.

Hello

Hire Notary have reached out to me several times via email. based on the negative reviews I have read I just been skeptical to work with them.

It’s an annual fee but it’s not worth it. USA Signing Agent promises $5000 in signings. I can only laugh at that. HireNotary you can list for free. There are plenty of free platforms. signingorder.com signatureclosers.com everydaynotary.com snapdocs.com signwithjot.com.

Once in a while I see a new one posted her and I go sign up when it’s free. Notary2Go I found that way but they are geographically challenged and keep sending me orders way out of my service area. But I do this full time so the more the merrier. In August I have received orders from 9 different sites. So it’s working out okay. I didn’t pay to list at any of them.
