That title agent needs to be put over a knee and soundly spanked (metaphorically, of course). She should know better!

Tell her to send you copies of the forms with faint stamps. If you did indeed perform the notarial acts, you should complete the appropriate loose forms for your state (acknowledgements, jurats), note which document each should be matched with, then forward those forms to her.

If your stamps are light, reink the pad on your imprinter.

Why? That made me think of a renewing notary student in a Notary Class I was teaching. She would stamp blank business cards, write in her phone number and hand it out to everyone. She was convinced that it was okay.

You would think so, given that our function is to witness a signing… pretty hard to do on a form NO ONE has signed.
