I just received 2 text ads from Raj Mobile Notary. They were ads showing sexy women in swim suits and sexy poses. While definitely drawing they eye, there is a danger to attracting the WRONG TYPE OF ATTENTION!
As a female going into an unknown environment, there is always a heathy level of apprehension where safety is concerned. While I have been fortunate to never have had an incident in my 7 years, I am aware there are dangers out there and do my best to keep safe.
These ads insinuate a depiction of a sexy Notary arriving at your door. This is sending, not only the wrong message, but may put a notary in a compromised situation.
It goes without mentioning, but I will do it anyway, that we are professionals, performing services of the law. It is an insult to the title we have obtained and have worked hard to maintain, to depict us as objects! As for the males, what a trick it would be for him to show up at one of the signings! OR, does he hire females only?
Please, avoid this service at all cost. Yes, he will get business in a time we are all struggling, but at what price?
Think he has posted on this forum (and have to add this type of thing does NOT sound like him). Maybe he’s been hacked. If it were me, I’d forward them to him and tell him you think somebody’s doing something bad to him as this type of ad is not appropriate.
FWIW: long, long ago, in a land far away…there actually was a notary called
“(‘man’s 1st name’), the naked notary”. How many of you oldies remember that one? **

I’ve seen his site, thought it was a joke but I have also worried that my web site might be too sexy.
I vaguely remember the naked notary but I do remember the Notary Doctor working in Las Vegas area. I heard he would show up dressed as a surgeon. Who would predict we would be dressing up like the good doctor during the pandemic.
What’s his tagline? “Offering the FULL and COMPLETE range of SERVICES, delivered right to the privacy of your home!” Yeah. And after the loan signing, just what FULL services will be expected?
Ha, Ha ~ would never make the sexy notary with my wrinkles in all places. How about a notary group entitled “Senior Notary Services ~ Respectful and Experienced” or is that too boring for the younger generation.

I have a feeling, Raj must have seen or heard of my post. I had blocked the number on my phone, but did receive a recent solicitation of his business. The latest pic is of 4 respectable adults at a boardroom desk, in suits, shaking hands. If he had heard about this post, kudos for making the change!
Never mind, got a sexy one again today. And, if you think about it. Most of us have a picture connected with our profile. Any company could, in fact, hire notaries based on experience AND appearance. Just a thought…
