Correct. But it takes less than a minute to count the tags and calculate how long it will take to do the job. It’s the same process I go through when I do RON as GNW.
Appreciate the clarification. Not as time-consuming as I thought.
dawnsnotary posts: “AMROCK only lets you notarize for properties in your state of commission.”
That has not been my experience. I do not do RON (I’m in California). However, I’ve notarized for properties in other states. Regardless of where subject property is located, notarial certificate must be state compliant for wherever notary is located.
That was for RON only. Since Pennsylvania is a RON state, the majority of the work is full RON, then IPEN. Their stand alones are still full paper closings (in my state anyway).
Thanks for that clarification.
Amroci RON allows notary to edit id verification form with driver license inf. All other entries are preset and can not be edited.
Yes, that is a true statement.
Arichter. It takes me about 15 minutes to tag a Heloc. And upwards of 60 minutes to tag a 110 pg refi with Trustees with multiple signers. When doing many different states I have to also line out the State & County , Type in mine and initial, using all tags to do this . So you may be doing that on 10 Acknowledgements in one closing. So about 15-60 minutes tagging, email/calling borrowers, And anywhere from 10 minutes to 60 online with them . Lots of people do not follow directions on how to onboard in the platform and therefore they have issues getting on and you have to help solve them and that prolongs a lot of these Ron closings.
Appreciate your input. It definitely isn’t a one-size-fits-all thing. Hope they take that into account on fees.
