Has anyone had any experience with AmNotary? I’ve recently received a couple of offers from them for signings with odd rates. For example $81.79 for a seller signing and $93.99 for a buyer signing. I’ve rejected both of these as the pricing is ridiculous for a Texas signing that frequently run in excess of 200 pages. But, I’ve also never heard of these guys and couldn’t find anything on this forum. They are supposedly out of Dallas. When I can’t find a single thing on them, my spidey senses start to tingle.
@hlwoizeschke No.
Sorry, first-time seeing their business entity name.
If you decide to Accept the Signing Order [SO], please let us know how it goes for you, okay? Thanks!

Both businesses are INACTIVE…
Interesting, AM Notary Desk LLC was INVOLUTARILY ENDED. Wonder what that’s about.
Maybe get more info from the hiring company if this is the company who contacted you for a job. It is perfectly OK to ask any hiring company for their contact info, phone, website, and state business ID number so that YOU can vet THEM. They vet us notaries, we should also be vetting our hiring companies.
I just had a request come through from them via Snapdocs, similarly with an odd fee amount of $101.00 Can’t find an address, phone number, contact name, reviews, nothing. I declined the order selecting the option “I am unfamiliar with Am Notary" but I also added a comment providing my fee and also said, I couldn’t find a phone number but someone with Am Notary is welcome to contact me so I can be better informed of who they are.
I never heard back so that’s all I need to know. If these 3rd party signing services don’t want to provide transparency and be professional, I simply won’t work with them. I need to know more information than a name and a city.
