Are Yelp Ads worth the money?

Hello all,

I have had some luck getting leads from Yelp, however the price is way higher than the money it brings in so far. It does bring in more contact with potential customers for my general notary work than anything else I have done…signed - Confused

I get 95% of my GNW work from my free Google Business Profile. It’s a great free source of revenue.
I’ve never paid for advertising.

I’m on Yelp but have never paid for an ad, nor would I as the ROI just isn’t there.

@randall I’ve paid for Yelp! ads in the past (several years ago).

The revenue generated was less than stellar & was a negative Return on Investment [ROI]. So, not a recommended marketing method.

i would NOT recommend paying Yelp a cent.
They will lure you in and when they get your payment information they will begin using their own “bots” to view the ads and also send you fake inquiries (leads) as if they were real people behind them.
On top of that there is so many other corrupt and deceptive practices across the board with them.

I can’t stand their business practices. I can’t get rid or them. I wish I never signed up with them even though I haven’t given them a dime.

Oh how I hate them, let me count the ways

I can’t believe how ridiculously frustrating Yelp’s app is to reply to. And then, when you finally manage to type something out, the app crashes and you lose everything. It’s so annoying that even customers have to resort to Googling you just to get around Yelp’s ridiculous system.
