How can i receive my payment from Cloud Signings, LLC. I took $20 signing for them, $20 back on June 8th, 2024. Numerous emails sent, and even a text was sent with zero response. It’s $20, not sure why I’m still waiting for $20.
It was a 15 page loan mod, and was literally walking distance from my home, that’s why I took it.
Please tell me what you have to do to get this organization to be transparent?
BTW, I should have checked Notary Cafe before taking signing from this organization, but geez, $20?
Nothing you can do really, they are impossible and i do not how they are even in business. I refuse to take any work from but someone near me is taking it for $20. I repeatedly say no and they send me a new offer for $50 but it’s the principle for me.
This is ridiculous. How and why are they still in business. I’m going to send a certified letter to the address on their site to see if that will do something. Now don’t get me wrong, yes it’s just $20, but I can’t and won’t run my business for free, and neither will they.
They may have offered you only $20 but make no mistake, they were paid a LOT more than than.
Some posters here have indicated that Cloud Signing LLC has a 60 day pay schedule. Others have stated a 90 day pay schedule. Both are unacceptable to me. It would appear they count on notaries just giving up on trying to collect. That way, Cloud keeps the whole fee.
Why are they still in business? Because people keep taking their assignments. Don’t take their ridiculous offers. I don’t care if signing is next door. If they don’t pay, you’re still out your fee, your supplies, your wear and tear on your equipment, etc.
Always, always vet the hiring entity. You are extending credit. Check them out first.
Thank you for this feedback, but it is astonishing that an organization that will not work for FREE, expects you to do just that. I can’t believe people are just giving up on not getting paid. There’s got to be a way to ring the alarms about this organization and their unfair practices.
There’s no way one person from that company will ever work for free.
Have anybody thought about writing a letter to the BBB about all those signing company who does not pay the agreed fee for the notaries. Or maybe write to the IRS and sound the alarm about those companies, if they do not paid to the notaries the agreed fee, that make me think about if they cheat in the taxes. At the end of the day they have a lot of information from the Notary to file a 1099 and declare hey pay the agreed fee, or even more.
I was paid after sending a demand letter to them. I did a signing in April and didn’t get paid until 100 days later in July. That was my first and last time working with them.
I also did a signing for them August 16 and have not been paid. I finally heard from someone yesterday after multiple calls and emails that said their terms are 60 days!!! Omg we will see
That’s great, and probably because they saw your negative posting! Like they said, always check on signing services. I even keep my own personal experience yes/no list.
First, know your worth. They offer $20.00 but will increase the fee if you counteroffer.
That being said… I stopped working with them because they take 6 months to pay.
I only took it because it was literally walking distance from my home. I didn’t think anything of it. I took it thinking it was going to be quick and easy.
I did a job for them; same results, no pay…I called title, got paid in a few days. Lesson learned - never, ever work for them. Told them to take me off their list. Another one to not work for is Notaries In Action - attempting to collect $130 from right now.
Just FYI. I did 4 signings for Notaries In Action during the last 4 months of 2023. I haven’t done any for them since then. Not because of no-pay though. (Maybe they got slow?) Anyway, my records show that they paid me for those signings between 20 days - 40 days. Not ideal of course, but not the worst. Good luck to you.
