All summer long, when it’s light ‘til 9 or later, all signings are during the day. The day the time changes, everyone wants a 5, 6, 7 PM (or later) appointment. Twenty years ago, I’d do them. After one too many near disasters, I finally decided that God had been telling me this is not a good idea and I listened. Rural curvy, hilly, unlit roads with sharp curves and cliffs are just asking for trouble..

Hillarious ~ now I can’t get that vision out of my mind! My son is an actor and could see him creating a sketch of this person. He lives in NJ now but also lived and acted in CA and NY plus many other places. Other son studied film production and computer tech stuff for film production in CA. They both have many such stories. Son that studied film production had a sword as a prop in his El Camino with cameras strapped to roof. Was arrested for having the sword and judge through the case out. Interesting and strange world we live in. Now he is a senior engineer technician and has coordinated productions for MSN, Amazon and now Boeing. At least he didn’t have a cat and a gun

I totally agree. I want no part of after dark assignments unless it’s close by and I know the neighborhood……not to mention pays well. I’m way too old to be looking for random addresses in remote locations after dark.

Yes I have night vision issues and I don’t accept any offers if during ‘dusk to dark’ hours. Historically for the past 24 years I’ve been commissioned, I plan seasonally to see less fewer ‘transactional’ (real estate) signings so I step up my online presence on my Google page to generate more traffic for GNW. Estate Planning Deliveries are always scheduled during my business hours 8:30 am - 5:00 pm. This plan in place work out pretty well. Night vision issues can definitely change the income stream.
Yes. Denver is dark by about 4:30 today. There are areas i will not go to after dark. The other problems, after dark, few I people have readable addresses. I feel bad for emergency services.
preach, with the drunks and wildlife added in its a no go for me after dark , I did take a 6 pm in Harrison this week , driving home was not fun
ty for the info I bought a pair for a signing I had this week I took for 6pm for my hour drive home , made a world of difference.
