I was trying to find a post related to this, I thought I saw something in the forum about this… Below is an email I received on the 20th
*From: Sanya David sanyadavid91@hotmail.com
Subject: Mobile Notary Needed 11/23
"Good Morning, I have a customer who is purchasing a home here in New Jersey. He and his wife will meet with you at a nearby restaurant to sign the loan documents on Monday (waiting for the lender to finish up some things) is that something you can handle and if so, what is the procedure and the cost?*
Thank you,
Sanya David.

I replied that I was not available. Then a few days later I received the same email again, at that point I started to suspect something.
First, the subject did not provide Borrower’s name, address, time, etc.
Second, the sender’s email was a personal (another red flag) hotmail account
I reported the email as scam, and moved on with my life.
The next day I received another email, this time more elaborate and with attachments.

**There were two attachments/links in the email, they were titled like it was a borrower’s package and XOME was used in the name.
This email still came through after I reported it spam**
The following day I received another email, now the subject line looked like this
“Re: 20El939480 - 20NS45667 | MATTHEW J TURCO | 11/24/2020 12:30 PM”
Good Morning, Are you available for a closing around your covered area at 12:30PM tomorrow? Please get back to us ASAP.

Thank you,
Thanks,

EVERY TIME THE EMAIL STRUCTURE WAS IMPROVING, MEANING WAS LOOKING MORE REAL, HOWEVER, BE VERY CAREFUL!!! MY SUBJECT LINE READ LIKE IT WAS AN OPPERTUNITY FROM ONE COMPANY, YET THE LINKS LOOKED LIKE ANOTHER COMPANY GENERATED THEM. ALL THAT AFTER MARKING THIS SENDER AS SPAM!!!
