FaceTime witnesses for Florida Deed signing?

I know this is not typical, but is it Legal? One SS told me it could be a last resort but…

Anyone want to weigh in? Much appreciated.

If this is a traditional paper signing? Umm…no - how are the witnesses going to sign the deed?

In Florida the notary can act as one witness providing they have no beneficial interest in the transaction and are not named in it - so signers just need to get one more witness.

Face-Time?? No…I would not do it - our statutes are clear - no changes to documents after we notarize - and witnesses signing after the fact would be a violation of that statute…and shame on the SS for telling you that it’s okay, last resort or not…
