I’ve done these types through places like Metro and companies who have contacted me directly. I did one though signing order for Brothers Bilingual who I unfortunately later found out are scammers, I’m now out $135 and it’s been 126days since. I don’t mind doing them but I’m not happy about getting scammed.
That’s what we try to tell people about non pay companies, and people take orders anyway I don’t get it.
Well Earl let me help you to “get it’… It’s a learning experience. I’ll tell you exactly why I did, and I imagine I’m not the only one to do this, and why people still accept the orders. I got the request via Signing Order, I’ve never had this problem before, and figure if it’s from a signing service it’s a legit company (Wrong on my thinking…) so when I get orders where I’m from I have to chose in a heartbeat to accept, which I did. Again, I’ve only been doing this for just under 2yrs and fortunately hadn’t had an issue up until now, so I really didn’t think much of it. After they did’t pay, that’s when I started to google them, and this is when I found everything out. Lesson learned! From now on after I accept an order I will now look the company up before completing the assignment …
Just wanted to help you out so you won’t lose money.
I have had little problem through that platform so - I wouldn’t expect getting burnt either.
I actually enjoy doing them. I’ve worked out a contract for my area with the company itself to avoid the middle man and the pay is great.
I used to do a lot of field inspections. I really haven’t since the closing burst in April of this year. I found I don’t really miss it either. It used to be a great filler. Closings have been taking all of my time since April. I don’t have much time to do much else. I know it’s different all over the country though.
How did you manage that? I’d love to know if you’re willing to explain.
