Texas Notary here and wanted to give my experience, I received a text and call regarding GNW and completed it about a week ago, I sent them the confirmation sheet, but did not include any of the signers information or a copy of my notary stamp, i simply put my commission number and informed them that they can look me up in the Texas SOS Notary Log for Commission confirmation. the dangerous part of their completion form is that they can digitize our stamp and signature and use it (not saying they are, but its a risk). I also put on there that i do not provide the sensitive information of signers for security purposes. Since then tried to get in contact with them regarding the Paypal invoice I sent. I did not receive responses to my emails, calls or my invoice reminders, that is until today when i was contacted regarding GNW, they sent a E-check which is fine, but it took them having to ask me for a service to get the payment.
As for doing work for them in the future, I am a one man show with some assistance from other notary friends and family, so the information they ask for already raises red flags. I think i will pass on future requests and do something to raise awareness in my area regarding notary fees.
