This might be a wake up call how to avoid situation like this (notarizing POA, Deeds, etc.)
I never spent the money when RON hit because I didn’t think it would gain a lot of traction after COVID died down. Now this seems to supports that theory.
This is very interesting. I am not sure if this applies to RON. Nothing in this world can prevent fraud. Con artists have been around for centuries. “Bad Actors” will find a way to “beat” the system, we just need to stay vigilant and up to date on all security measures in our field. I have performed a lot of RON sessions, I may be wrong and not an expert on software or technology. I do agree that nothing man made is foolproof from being victimized. We can not live in fear, so we do the best we can in these matters.
