I am wanting to transition from Mobile to becoming a full-time RON. I am looking to go through Pavaso but I heard that they don’t accept Identrust digital certificates. Where else can I get digital certificates?
From my research about six months ago, Pavaso works with partner companies only. It is best to find out who their partners are before you make a purchase. Once you find out who their partners are do more research. I purchased digital tools for RON because the signing service was a partner. I have not gotten any RON assignments it has been months.

Yes…research - and self reflection
I had thought of doing RON…then realized - RON went into effect in Florida January 1, 2020 (just before the covid crisis) - how many requests have I received for a RON closing? How many requests have I received for a remote notarization, or any calls even hinting at that? The answer to all questions is a resounding ZERO - so for me, in 22 months I have received no requests to do this type of work at all.
Therefore, I will not be investing in this technology.
