Congratulations again girly!!!:+1::clap::raised_hands::dancer::dancer::dancer::dancer::dancer::+1:

Eeeeeekkkkkj I’m glad you made it through that ok. I hate driving in fog!

I absolutely love Costco! I didn’t get out there this weekend:( to fill up. I plan to try to get out there tonight since it’s about 25 minutes from me. I also use Kum and Go for gas as they have a good discount for card holders (This maybe an Oklahoma thing). We are now sitting at $3.60 a gallon.

Im with ya and feeling it as well. Im in northern california. Seems like signings are offering cheaper and gas prices are climbing without a stop. :frowning: bummer.

The signing services are contacting me directly now, I think they are getting desperate because nobody is willing to do the signings anymore.

Take them… take them all… only if you are not in my area. I kindly ask you to please share😬

Haha no way, don’t ever take a low ball fee, that’s a waste of your time and it only hurts the industry.

That’s a given… of course the fee has to make sense

I hope this is karma for the signing services

Gas

The attached receipt shows what I paid for gasoline in a remote part of California where prices tend to be higher. May 21, 2021, premium fuel, $3.999 per gallon just a mere 10 months ago. Now I’m paying $6.19 near my home/office. Ya gotta love it. :dizzy_face:

Well surely this increase has to do with the Russian war?

Do you think a lot of notaries will give up at this pace?

Let’s not talk politics…. But. U.S. gas prices are rising at a record pace as Western sanctions on Russia’s financial and shipping industries cut off oil supplies from global markets and refineries struggle to keep up with surging demand.

That is a very good question. This is definitely a test of perseverance. Successful people do not quit when things get tough, they reinvent themselves.

Many notaries will have little choice but to lay low for a while, anyway. Besides, loan refi’s are drying up and supply and demand will thin the herd. I’m working hard to transition to GNW. But, that’s for another thread.
