That’s really fortunate and great for you. If you have question on a JOT signing call that title contact on the order. They actually appreciate it when notaries call to be sure before they guess and are wrong - just saying. It’s a good rule on every signing. Notaries sometimes think it’s bad to ask questions, I think it’s good. The company gets more confidence in the notary if they believe you are going to ask to get it right.

A heads-up that the Fee you accept with Jot from Endpoint for First American Title will need to encompass all standard Professional Services including scan/faxbacks.
Why? (one might ask)
.
If the text blast arrives & states:
“No scans required”
.
Know that the Escrow Officer can demand that scans increase the scope of the project without adding a Fee for that service.
.
===>>> If you ask for a Scan Fee to be added to your Fee for the addition of the Professional Service, Jot will immediately CANCEL the Signing Order [SO] without any discussion/negotiation.

I read it again and it seems the part about document security is more in depth. Most of it is standard, there’s a big part about speaking to the media about the company which just means I’m not going to discuss this company anymore in public places. This may not be “media” - but I like working for this platform, I’m not taking any chances.

I love working for JOT, they pay weekly and never an issue. I wish they had more work in Oklahoma.

So I have done 2 signings for Jot and First American, I have done hundreds of closing for them over the years, I am impressed with the quick and easy way to get assignments and yes they pay above average compared to almost all other SSs except maybe Stuart Title, both companies prefer to stay away from signing services, but we have to be real, with so many Subpar Signing agents out in the market they have to protect themselves.
