JOT platform from Endpoint & First American Title Company

I received an invite to sign up free on their platform from Endpoint & First American Title, load your current credentials and be NNA Certified, 25K E & O, 2 yr experience. I joined just putting it on here in case any one have experience with them to speak on! Good luck. I got an invite not sure if you can just sign up if you meet their criteria!

I had an issue with their online application having a few glitches

Platform has glitches, too. Spins & spins and doesn’t load.

Guess this too depends on location. Love working with JOT! They’re always available to address questions/issues and pay weekly.

I did one signing for them. They must not do much business.

I found an article about the launch of this signing platform from First American, Endpoint Launches Jot™, a Signing Service Platform and Nationwide Community for Mobile Notaries | First American
I’ve done signings for years for First American Title (FASS) but as you know its been a slow business these past years.
I just signed up on this (new) platform, it was establish last year. ( I had to hit the “submit” button twice, the first attempt gave a “error” message, 10 seconds later I tried again, it went through)

I’m in southern California, I’ll let you know what happens on my end.

When I was invited and a price sheet was requested, I was told it had to be $90 per signing. So I counter on most offers depending on location. But I do love that they pay fast and accurately. It’s a good platform.

I have done work for them. They pay fast without you having to beg for your fee. I did have issues with the platform buffering on Firefox but I opened it on google chrome with no issues.

I got my request on Monday 11/25/24 after I completed the invite to sign up. I was excited I like working with 1st American Title at the local office. The offer was a 3 loan signing, 1 person w/scans $175. I declined hoping to counter, $300, but there was no counter reason!! I was disappointed :disappointed: I had no I idea how many pages it would be on these other loans, that is still low…What fees do they offer? They don’t know my fees. So I sent an email to them to see what response I will get if any. What would you have done in this case? Did I miss a golden opportunity or did I blow it? Was this the right move considering all the unknow parameters? What say you?

You can counter but the app has that feature in a drop down you have to open. I can’t remember if there’s a note section on counter. In my area the offers start at $90. If they know $90 won’t get a notary they’ll sometimes put it on SnapDocs for a higher fee. I’ve never signed 3 loans in one appointment so not sure what that’s about. For them it’s not about what your fees are it’s about what they offer. If a package is really large I can ask for and receive an additional print fee.

They’re one of the largest title companies in the country.

Yes they are…also why I was disappointed at the offer for what it said! That’s why I needed to counter! And the title co will always pay more, without a SS in the middle! I was on my phone clicked the linked, options were, accept decline. I didn’t or don’t remember seeing a drop down option… oh well…hopefully they’ll send me another offer to acceot or decline!

It’s the three lines on the upper right of the screen on the telephone app. It opens and gives an option to send a counter fee. If you hit decline it’s gone. Some apps when you hit decline it gives the counter option but not the JOTS app.

johnsonps306 question for you: when does the assigned order go into the closed file? I completed a file for them yesterday and just wondering on the portal when does it go into the closed file portion on the portal?? thanks

JOTS is exclusive to First American. It’s not a SS.

Refresh the screen when you close it, it should move to closed. If it doesn’t move right away don’t worry. The platform is very reliable. And they pay twice a month.

I recommend The JOT signing platform.

They pay well. Communication is great. And they have an easy platform. Definitely a keeper.

I will endorse JOT.

Thank you JOT, for your hard work and dedication to a GREAT platform service!
