JOT platform from Endpoint & First American Title Company

My favorite. One of two platforms that say we don’t need your invoice that you can believe.

I still haven’t gotten another opportunity to work with JOT! Still waiting!!!
Bancserv is my #1 SS, any thru Fidelity is a plus, very reasonable size pkgs with out a lot of unnecessary docs!! Amrock is also very good for me!! Not to get off topic!

Ive done one signing for them then they asked me to do a few in my neighboring state , I of course declined not being duly commissioned and haven’t heard from them since .

First American Title is one of the largest title companies in the country. They do a LOT of business. Maybe in your area someone does more.

Saw an email today they( JOT) are having notary login issues,

It’s related to upper and lower case in email.

It’s never off topic to talk about the good ones! Yay!

I also got an invite for JOT, I thought it would be worth trying. I think its like a snapdocs or signing order?

I did signed up about 6 months ago and have had 2 with them. I countered on both and was awarded the signing ..they paid within 30days.

JOT is First American Title. They pay weekly. I wish I got more from them.

@Jerrykryska1 This is one of the new “Signing Services” [SSs] that is a direct dedicated platform (JOT) created within the corporate structure of First American Financial Corporation with copyright to Endpoint Technologies, LLC (subsidiary of First American).

According to Google AI:
“Endpoint Technologies, LLC is backed by and is a subsidiary of First American Financial Corporation (Endpoint Unveils Solutions to Support Proptech Companies and Investors Searching for a Scalable Digital Closing Platform | First American). While not explicitly stated as a direct owner, First American’s involvement is significant.”

So, the long & the short of it is:

===>>> You’re more than safe to happily Accept this wonderful Invitation!

Hello - new notary here.

I signed up for JOT but won’t be able to get signings through First American according to their email. I will have an active JOT platform and currently I do not see anything listed within this software. After 2 years or 25 signings you will be able to get signings from First American. I am assuming they get signings from other agencies but First American might be the bulk of the work? See email below:

Thank you for your response to our questionnaire. At this time, your experience level does not meet First American requirements. You will continue to be active on the Jot platform, but ineligible for First American orders.

Please reach back out to us after you either have 2 years of experience or have completed 25 purchase signings, and we will review your credentials to determine if we are able to remove that restriction from your Jot profile.

Jot is owned by First American. Anything else would be rare. They require two years of experience.

@Yanira04 FOR CLARIFICATION PURPOSES:

First American is not explicitly stated as a direct owner of Jot.

As such, it would be inaccurate to make a statement conveying that as if it was a truthful fact, which it’s definitively not expressed as an owner.

There’s a complicated web of naming & relationships though . . .

@signingagent1 yes it was JOT, I don’t get many from them. At the time I hadn’t heard of them. I would sign up if you are not and have 2 yrs experience   very good backing & reputation with First American!!! Good luck!!!

From working with them I can say their fees are acceptable. compared to the amount of paper and time spent filling it out, but only if it’s near you or your city. Try it out, I say.
I can also say I get their signing done and delivered in about an hour or so.

Is it because Title companies don’t want to be liable for a Notary? or It’s a conflict of interest?

@notarytoyou.bayarea Regrets, I have no “inside baseball” on the scenario.

Jot took me right in with no real experience and put me to work. I know I made some mistakes, but they still keep reaching out to me. :smiling_face_with_tear:
