I would join a Union in a heartbeat. It is not something that is forced on you, it is something you join if you feel it benefits your business. My fee is $125. I may do 3-4 jobs per day but it is better than doing 7-8 to get the same cash. Anyone asking you to print documents, drive, enter a strangers house, review and risk your stamp on a job, etc for $30 is not working with. Anyone who does has there own agenda but it would be de-valuing our profession.

Jennifer, are you asking what you should charge for loan modifications? Honestly I have never done a loan modification, however I generally don’t leave my house for less than $100. IF things are super slow and the package is small (less than 40 pages) and the signing is close by (less than a 15 minute drive) and I KNOW the company pays quickly (30 days or less) I MIGHT do a seller or other small package signing for $85.
