Hello,
I tried the Loan Processing Center’s job board and answered “yes” to a closing. I’ve received no response and their site is not very user friendly. Has anyone used their job board? I would have thought there would be a reply as to whether I received the assignment, but there is nothing except that my response was a “yes”. I didn’t want to miss an opportunity and was wondering if I was doing something wrong on the site as far as finding their response.
@joanbys Excellent question!
Sorry to read about your difficulties receiving Signing Orders [SOs] from this business entity.
In general, just know that if you receive “No Response” the meaning is that you weren’t the chosen one . . .
Sometimes that can be a ‘good’ thing especially if the business entity is a non-payer.
Accessing the database to locate information about potential clients has saved many of us an inordinate amount of time ‘chasing’ payments for Services professionally provided to potential non-payers . . .
(See note below for how to access the insightful Notary Cafe database)

Truly, launching a business within this business sector of the industry (like many entrepreneurial businesses) is a slog to get things going regarding SOs.
The YouTube videos hawking “it’s EASY PEASY to make $100K/year” has been debunked repeatedly . . .
Unfortunately, folks do still decide to “invest” in the used car salesman tactics of bait & switch! They tell you if you’re not receiving SOs to just launch a Signing Service & you’ll be living in a McMansion next week . . . They also advise to accept any SO at any price to gain experience.
UGH!!
Neither of these “tips” will serve you in launching your business.
======
This segment of the business industry has been in a strong downward spiral regarding volume of SOs and increasingly LOWER fees for many years, but especially since ‘post-COVID-19,’ etc.
I and the other sages on the Notary Cafe forum regularly endeavor to help new forum members grasp the reality of the unadulterated truth of the current state of this business sector - myriad variables in the financial & real estate markets are negatively affecting this industry.

HOW TO ACCESS THE INSIGHTFUL NOTARY CAFE DATABASE
The immediately available information is found within the Notary Cafe database.
This information is a GOLDMINE!
Most members express that they find it difficult/NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE to locate the Search Function in order to access the wealth of information available within the database.
To be helpful, I’ve inserted an image for you & others [see below] to help members locate it to unlock the wisdom & knowledge of other members on the forums.
I’ve performed a cursory Search on your behalf and the results show 7 separate threads (in addition to yours) about this particular business entity.

Job board? What did you have to pay to post your listing on that new site.
It’s a free page on the LPC and Signings site.
Thank you for your response
I think it is user friendly. It is no different than receiving a text for a signing and it’s first come first serve.
It is Signing Order.
What job board are you talking about?
http://www.lpcclosers.com/contactus.html
It’s on this site. I’m new at this, but the same site appears to be both loan closers and Signing something or other. I found it because they texted me and I reverse searched the phone number.
When. Or if. ur assigned…you should get emailed with a confirmation.
If not…you weren’t assigned
I’ve never used their job board but I have worked for them. They are extremely slow in paying. The average time in my area is 65 days. Just so you know and are prepared to wait.
I’ve been on the SO website for a number of years and only noticed the job board lately. Most of the jobs are far outside my service area so I haven’t had a chance to mark myself available. Thank you for sharing your experience, I am always trying to find new ways to expand my customer base.
@jessiea43 WoW! Truly, that is a LONNNNNG time!
I very seldom take orders from them they pay to low and they take a long time to pay
This is Loan Pro Closings through Signing Order. That, I have heard of but not Loan Processing Center.
@richlandmobilenotary are you saying you have never heard of Loan Processing Center? They are a legit company in business since well before 2008 - historically slow payers. Back in the day I did one for them - took 3 weeks to get paid which, at that time was considered overdue. They are out of Louisville, KY and ratings on NotRot make them a 2-star company
Yes, this appears to be the Signing Order Job Board. I’m not sure who operates it or which signing services it covers, but it does not necessarily appear to be a “first come, first served” type of situation. I’ve said “Yes” to several jobs so far and haven’t been chosen for any. It seems to be more of a “Let’s see who applies and we’ll choose who we want” kind of deal. Also, it doesn’t list the company posting the job. That would be valuable information before saying “yes” or “no” to a listing.
Yes, I have also said yes to several. After you say yes to 10 (whether they assign you or not) then you are done unless you pay a subscription. But why would I pay a subscription if they never chose me?
I pay the additional subscription fee, to say yes/no to the fees. I’ve gotten a couple from SO, once I did pay for the subscription, and those that I have gotten, have been counters, so it’s been worthwhile to me. There are plenty that I’ve countered, and not received the business, but that’s ok, they aren’t my ideal customer. I’m not so busy from the work there, but a) it’s putting me in front of new companies, and b) it’s filling in my openings from when my normal TC’s aren’t super busy in my area. All of that to say, I understand the hesitation, but you may want to try for a month or two because it’s not horribly expensive, and may get you some additional business.
You can click on the notes, and SOMETIMES the company name is in there.
